Early ‘90s Tom spent many a high school afternoon at the drawing board churning out pencil sketches of Marvel anti-heroes like Punisher, Moon Knight, Wolverine, Cable, and Venom. As great as they all are, none of them visually inspired me the way the demon with the flaming-skull head, spiked leather jacket and motorcycle from Hell did, as evidenced by my multiple stabs at him over the years. Ghost Rider was (and is) one of my all-time favorite character designs and instantly becomes my favorite of the Marvel enamel pins we’ve done so far. – Tom Whalen
